Franchi specializes in traditional heirloom Italian varieties, selected over the years for great taste and productivity. These fine seed packs are hermetically sealed to ensure freshness. 95% of our seeds are grown in Italy; NONE are genetically engineered. Organic seeds are certified by the Italian Certifying organization in Milan. Every seed pack has English language labels with variety description and growing instructions. Each package contains photos and symbols representing your zone and the months of the year to plant and how to plant them. We so believe in Franchi seeds that if Franchi does not have certain varieties, we do not sell them.Packs are large and typically have 2 to 10 times the number of seeds in the typical American seed packet (i.e.: mixed lettuce has 10 gr @ 4500 seeds – that’s a lot of salad mix!).
